Sea slugs are probably some of the most beautifully coloured animals on earth. Sea Slug is the common name for a group of animals known as nudibranchs. They are very small in size, most being only about 1 or 2 inches long and they are directly related to the slugs we might find in our garden at home. For those of you who scuba dive if you look carefully you will find an abundance of these creatures on just about every marine reef whether in be the cold waters of the Altantic or Pacific or the clear tropical waters of the Caribbean Sea. Below you will find some links with additional nformation related to marine sea slugs.
Sea slugs are typically bottom dwelling animals that can found anywhere from the intertidal zone down to over 700 m deep. They can be found in almost every part of the world, even in the antarctic.
